Composite bonding & veneers

Fix a chip, close a gap, love your smile — in one visit.

Composite bonding reshapes your teeth with a tooth-coloured resin, applied directly and sculpted by hand. It’s the fastest, gentlest way to fix chips, gaps, uneven edges and stains — with no drilling.

What it’s for

Small changes, big difference.

Chipped edges, small gaps, worn-down teeth, mild staining, or a smile that just needs evening out. Composite bonding can make subtle changes to shape, proportion and symmetry — often without removing any natural tooth structure.

  • No drilling, no anaesthetic

Composite is bonded to the tooth surface, so most cases need no numbing and nothing is removed from your natural tooth.

  • Done in a single visit

From shade selection to final polish, all done in one appointment.

  • Fully reversible

Unlike porcelain veneers, composite can be removed or adjusted later without damaging the tooth underneath.

  • Shade-matched to you

We match the composite to your surrounding teeth, so the result looks natural.

How much is composite bonding per tooth?

Edge bonding is £250 per tooth and full composite veneers are £300 per tooth at Radiant Dental. Most people treat the 8–10 front teeth, and the whole appointment is usually done in a single visit.

Does composite bonding damage your teeth?

No. Composite bonding is additive — the material is shaped onto the existing tooth, with little or no drilling, which means it is reversible. That is the main difference from porcelain veneers, which require permanent enamel removal.

How long does composite bonding last?

Typically 4 to 7 years with good care. It can chip or stain over time, particularly with heavy coffee, red wine or smoking, and it can be polished, repaired or replaced without harming the tooth underneath.

Can you whiten composite bonding?

No — whitening gel lifts stains from natural enamel, not from composite. That is why we whiten first and bond afterwards, so the new material is matched to your final shade rather than your starting one.
