Dental implants
The closest thing to your own tooth.

Assessment and scan
A £65 consultation with X-rays and, where needed, a CT scan (£150) to check the bone and plan the implant precisely.
- 2
Implant placed
The titanium post is placed under local anaesthetic. It then bonds with the bone over a few months, forming a secure root.
- 3
Crown fitted
A shade-matched crown is attached to the implant, leaving a tooth that looks and feels like your own.
Why patients choose implants.
- The closest thing to a real tooth — no removable plates, no gaps
- Protects the bone and stops neighbouring teeth drifting
- Bite, chew and speak with confidence again
- Lasts decades with good care

Call 0161 330 1178Book OnlineHow much does a dental implant cost?
A single dental implant including the crown is £2,500 at Radiant Dental. That covers the implant, the abutment and the final crown. 0% finance through Chrysalis is available over 12 to 60 months, subject to status.
How long do dental implants last?
A well-maintained implant can last decades — the titanium post fuses with the jawbone and is designed to be permanent. The crown on top typically needs replacing after 10 to 15 years of normal wear.
Is getting an implant painful?
The procedure is done under local anaesthetic, so you feel pressure rather than pain. Most people describe the recovery as milder than an extraction, and manage with over-the-counter painkillers for two or three days.
How long does the whole implant process take?
Usually 3 to 6 months from placement to final crown. The implant needs time to fuse with the bone before the crown goes on — that healing period is most of the wait, and you are not left without a tooth in the meantime.
